“WOW!!! What can we say! Thank you so so much! You’ve managed to capture some of those fleeting moments that are so important and tell so much. I know they are also photos that both our families will love and cherish”
Sarah and Joe’s wedding was just the sort of low-key, fun celebration I would have chosen for myself had my husband and I not married on a Caribbean island with only our four month old son (and some legal witnesses!) in attendance.
The day was a wonderful testament to the love of their family and friends, with everyone contributing in some shape or form. Hand-made decorations for the village hall. A bridal bouquet from her grandfather’s garden, and arranged by her mother less than an hour before the ceremony. Party poppers let off en masse by the audience as the bride and groom completed their vows. The wedding breakfast a fantastic culinary offering brought by many enthusiastic guests. And a home-made chocolate brownie wedding cake to top it all off.
Both the bride and groom entertained guests in costumes with singing and dancing (one was a parrot!), no care in the world but that they and their friends should have a truly wonderful day. And everyone did – including me.
